In questi giorni il subbuglio interiore di testa e di pancia si allevia un po’ grazie ad un cantante, tal Hu Defu 胡德夫.

Sessantenne dallla voce calda e i capelli bianchi e dalle grandi mani. Sembrerebbe poco, mi vedo scivolare sul divano chiudere gli occhi dopo ore di vai e vieni. Sgambetto su e giu’ per il villaggio olimpico, arrivo a casa e piombo sul computer, accendo il tutto e mi allungo sul santo divano ampio e troppo bianco. Faccia tra le pieghe del cuscino e via. Il signor Hu in sottofondo. 

E’ di Taiwan, attivista nel sociale da anni e cantautore da sempre. Mentre negli anni 70 a Taiwan, come in tutto il mondo spopolava l’America e la sua musica, lui riprende le sue origini, le raccoglie tra le mani e le mette in musica. 

Consiglio a tutti congcong  匆匆

Una cosa davvero figa a Pechino è vedere dal vivo una performance dei Sambasia.

Intanto sottolineo dal vivo, perchè non è comperando un cd che se ne fa esperienza. Vanno ascoltati e soprattutto ballati.

Un gruppo di persone, assolutamente multietnico che fonde sonorità brasiliane, canto e ballo. Sono tanti, c’è chi canta di fronte, non hanno voci melodiose, non rimangono nella testa per i suoni ma è il solo ritmo dato da tutte le varie percussioni che rimane. Sono tanti e differenti ragazzi e raggazze, asiatici, non asiatici. 

Stasera hanno suonato al Jingjinjiu, piccolo bar nella più bella piazza della città. posto troppo piccolo, il pubblico, compresa la sottoscritta onn ha mai smesso di muovere il sedere.

Non sono una fan del Brasile, nè della Capoeira, sono un po’ più introversa, cerco società diverse in cui risiedere. Ma loro mi hanno conquistato.

Buona giornata. 

C’è una canzone che mi ha accolto oggi mentre
rientravo a casa. Precisamente 彩虹 Caihong, arcobaleno, di 许巍 Xu Wei.
Incomincio a fischiettarla e ad intonare un po’ la melodia di
sottofondo. Ma perchè la so? Dato che stiamo parlano di pop-rock
cinese, non sono un’esperta davvero. Pensa che ti ripensa, ecco il
perchè, è la traccia che accompagna un bel video (freehugs in China) del 2006 quando in Cina incominciava ad essere frequente vedere in giro i cartelloni bianchi con scritto FREE HUGS o  免费拥抱

Una curiosità, il video cinese è in risposta ad un’altro video (freehugs campaign),
molto simile al video girato a Pechino, la cui traccia sottostante
invece è stata messa su da un gruppo di adolescenti australiani. Bhe,
non mi intendo neanche di pop-rock australiano…ma continuo a
preferire di gran lunga e a canticchiare Caihong di Xuwei.

*altra cosa, notare che la traduzione in cinese di Free hugs è 免费拥抱 e non 自由拥抱, ossia abbracci gratis invece di abbracci liberi. vabbè. pratici fino alla morte.
